PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To ensure that the fish samples submitted to the laboratory for testing are tested according to established standards and results are released without delay.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12
• 3 Year`s tertiary qualification in the field of Food safety, microbiology, food technology, food science or related life sciences.
• Work experience in a microbiological laboratory.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Aseptic product sampling according to the sampling plan
• Microbiological testing of water, Fish and all hygiene monitoring swabs
• Organoleptic inspection on product
• Chemical, consumable and equipment inventory for the Lab
• Equipment verification
• Recording and reporting results.
• General & ad hoc
