PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Identification and development of new and cross-functional business opportunities (New Business, Process and Value additions).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors degree in business , finance, or engineering.
• Three-year experience preferably in a business ideation and business development environment.
• A post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

New business development

• • Assist in identifying and researching new project opportunities.
  • Identifying new and cross-functional business opportunities (New Business, Process and Value additions) and present to the team.
  • Evaluate business ideas and perform, feasibility studies.
  • Develop business plans and financial models and present to the team.
  • Perform benchmarking, knowledge transfer and drive Innovation to create the ideal solutional fit for the local environment.
  • Develop markets / tactical marketing strategies and marketing plans.
  • Identify and engage with potential technology suppliers and clients.
  • Identify ways and means to integrate new businesses into the O&L Group of Companies.
  • Apply and execute principles of project management, review, drive corrective actions and report.
  • Assist financing solutions and reviewing basic legal contracts.
  • Support project implementation, hand-over and secure robust solution to business maturity.

Reporting

• • Identified monthly achievables.
  • Identified business opportunities and progress towards achievables (Bi-monthly).
  • Provide weekly overall progress update on market research, findings, and feasibility studies.
  • Perform any other duties as and when required.
