Seeking an organized and dependable individual with good phone and communication skills to operate the switchboard and to perform general office administration functions.

The candidate will be expected to perform (but not limited to) the following duties:
Monitor and scan telephone calls and take correct message with necessary follow-up actions
Courteously deal with enquiries from incoming calls and/or walk-in individuals
Directs calls and relay messages through the switchboard system
Professionally organise reception area and relevant duties
Report faulty lines and telephones
Assist public, clients and visitors at Reception area.
General administration functions



  • Acceptable pass mark in Grade 12
  • Two to five years' work experience in reception or similar role, with excellent telephone skills, pleasant personality, and should be well groomed
  • Excellent communication skills (English and Afrikaans); and a third local Namibian language will be an added advantage (Oshiwambo or Damar or Otjiherero)
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Office suite
