Bartender 1 - Mokuti Etosha Lodge Job

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To serve guests at the bar according to their request and to make suggestions to guests according to their tastes and preferences by providing excellent customer service and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

• Grade 12
• 1 year experience as a Barman or Bartender

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Provide a friendly and professional bar service to guests.

Mix traditional and creative drinks and cocktails.

Make suggestions based on guest tastes and preferences

Build a rapport with guests to create a positive atmosphere

Open and maintain tabs throughout the shift

Handle all guest complaints in courteous and professional manner.

Process payment from guests

Clean glasses and bar utensils

Record and balance cash receipts

Ensure accurate opening and closing stock counts are done daily.

Do an accurate handover between morning and evening shift

Apply stock rotation when new stock is issued.

Adhere to the Health & Safety and Hygiene policies as procedures.
