THE ROLE - WHATS IT ABOUT


If you're a megastar WordPress developer with experience on GitHub, then this is the role for you.


We are looking for someone who can create bespoke WordPress themes using designs created in-house. We use GitHub to manage our code and make extensive use of Advanced Custom Fields.

You will get to work on some of the following projects

  • Multi-country websites in multiple languages
  • Client Portals
  • Staff Portals
  • Intranets
  • Bespoke Integrations
  • eCommerce
  • Bespoke CRMs

You should be confident in every stage of development, from analysis, design and development to testing, and implementation.


THE FINE PRINT

Mandatory Skills - 2 to 4 years experience in:

  • Creating bespoke WordPress themes from scratch
  • Either using a boilerplate theme or creating new individual files from scratch
  • Not based on existing themes
  • Not based on customizing child themes
  • Not based on page builders such as visual composer
  • Not based on using only plugins to extend side functionality
  • Competent with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
  • Good understanding of custom post types, taxonomies, and WordPress theme structure
  • Competent at developing front end interfaces using Bootstrap
  • Proficient in using Linux command line
  • Good understanding of custom post types, taxonomies, and WordPress theme structure

A high level of proficiency in:

  • Good understanding of WooCommerce
  • Experience creating bespoke plug-ins
  • Experience using GitHub
