Description
- Execute programs and policies relating to operations administration and standards, and facility maintenance
- Determine how to allocate resources and to respond to unanticipated problems
- Assist in develop and update both standard and emergency response plans or procedures
- Liaise with Oyster Commercial Manager to formulate objectives and understand requirements
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers ect)
- Ensure that adequate maintenance work is completed on infrastructure, vehicles, vessels and equipment)
- Ensure products meets quality standards
- Enforce health and safety standards
- Report to Oyster Commercial Manager
- Obtain growth, mortality and harvest goals
Requirements
- Preferably an aquaculture or agriculture qualification specializing on animal health and production
- Minimum 5 years of aquaculture or agriculture production experience
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word
- Effective people management and communication skills
- Effective administration and time management
- Preferably a skippers license for vessels up 9m
