The purpose of this role is to ensuring that all products and services provided by MTC to the customers are billed as per the commercial agreement with customers', by ensuring network, billing and configuration integrity and accuracy across network platforms and systems.

Specification

  • Monitor all data on Subscriber Growth, Revenue Growth and Services Revenue Growth to ensure all charges are accurate
  • Test all business processes from RA perspective and validate new products and new systems for implementations as part of the migration assurance to ensure zero customer impact
  • Conduct data sync checks of data between various systems to provide a consistent view of data across BSS/OSS systems.

  • Maintain an updated Interconnect process by overseeing the successful data collection on a weekly basis.
  • Track potential areas of risk and provide feedback to Manager: Revenue Assurance
  • Participate in the product/campaign development process to identify potential revenue losses
  • Prepare monthly interconnect statistics for finance to invoice interconnect partners.

Requirements

  • Academic Qualifications:
  • Relevant Degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Finance 3 years
  • Mandatory Prior Experience:
  • Telecoms experience (Billing and Charging) 3 years
  • Extensive experience in analyzing large volumes of data 2 years
  • Experience in MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Python, Shell scripting and Unix based operating systems (added advantage).
  • Computer literate with advance Microsoft office suite skills and strong knowledge of database and programming
  • Competencies:
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and process improvement skills
  • Excellent understanding of the scope of revenue risk management and business processes and tools required to reduce revenue leakages
  • Ability to work and interact with analytical tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc
  • Must be a Namibian citizen or have permanent residency
