Job Description

Main Purpose of Job:


Under minimal supervision, to deliver an efficient and effective internal administration and support service to all relevant stakeholders with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. The incumbent will perform duties associated with all of the different HR functional areas within the HR Value Chain.


Key Performance Areas:

  • Under minimal supervision, providing quality standardised administrative support to the team which creates a positive impact on the strategic objectives of the team;
  • Collaborating with team members on administrative tasks which are both standardised and non-routine that positively impact the work of others and/or timely delivery to clients;
  • Through the effective working relationships built within the business to understand their requirements, suggests improvements to administrative processes that better delivers to the business needs;
  • Effective use of time, equipment and resources;
  • Using initiative, makes day-to-day decisions and judgements which may impact own team within own area of administrative responsibilities, without reference to superior;
  • Has a good understanding of the risks within area of expertise and aligns with Deloitte policies and processes, referring non-routine issues to superior; and
  • Providing team with detailed reporting on status of deliverables on a regular basis, generally working to deadlines of weeks to months.


Qualifications

Qualification Required:

  • National Diploma in HR or equivalent qualification relevant to the function
  • HR Degree or equivalent qualification is preferred

Additional Information

Experience Required:

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar role;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; and
  • Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
