Debmarine Namibia requires the services of a Coordinating Security Officer based in Oranjemund. The incumbents responsibility is to direct the Security Technicians, coordinate the planning system for maximum Technical System Availability at all times, coordinate the maintenance management and purchasing of the DBMN Oranjemund Airport Logistics operations technical, specify requirements for completing approved work and deliver the requirements for every approved work package for completion at the scheduled time.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Ensures the availability of technical systems through Maintenance Management/Planning by:
- Review the maintenance plans (calendar and usage-based) to optimise the utilisation of engineering resources.
- Coordinates planned work to be completed.
- Reviews and reports on job loading for all Security Technical maintenance personnel and DBMN Oranjemund Airport Logistics operations technical.
- Analyses trends, failures and costs by gathering information (e.g. breakdown analysis, failure post mortems etc.) (Reports on the top five)
- Performs Best Practice audits in line with the DBMN maintenance strategy.
- Performs a quality control function of the completed job cards that are returned (including relevant failure analysis coding, filing and achieving etc.)
- Drives an asset management continuous improvement programme on-board and land-based.
- Trains relevant Security staff in maintenance management processes work planning & control and the SAP R/3 PM module.
- Maintain high ethical standards both personally and professionally.
- Adheres to and promotes Company policies and procedures relating to health, safety, security and environmental issues.

Requirements
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant Electrical OR Electronics tertiary qualification on NQF6 level, plus
- Knowledge of data analysis, system application and risk management
- 5 years experience at a Technician / Electrician level.
- Previous experience in Security Technical Systems will be an added advantage.
