Business Development Officer (Inceptus Holding (Pty) Ltd)

Inceptus Holding (PTY) Ltd (Inceptus) is wholly owned by the University of Namibia (UNAM) with a mandate to commercialize its assets and Intellectual Property to generate income for the shareholder. Inceptus is seeking for a qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position of Business Development Officer.

Specification

The Business Development Officer shall be responsible for the facilitation of business development initiatives, which includes the acquisition of new business/clients for the sustainable growth of the organization in order to strengthen its mandate.

• Excellent financial analytical skills. Being able to analyse financial accounts and develop financial forecast for investment projects
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to research on new business trends and develop business proposal for diverse sectors
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and cultures, strong relationship building skills and service-oriented attitude
• Proven ability to multi-task and keep track of several projects running in parallel and provide the necessary supervision
• Advanced computer skills and IT literacy, i.e. Word; PowerPoint; Excel; Outlook.

Desirable:

• Experience working with multi-sectorial investment projects, clients and/or operations
• Interest and committed to enhance the growth of the organization.

Requirements

• A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management or similar qualification with minimum of three (3 )years relevant experience in a business development or entrepreneur related environment. A valid drivers license.
• Experience in investments and financial analysis in commercial business environment/sector will be an advantage.
