Job description
Key responsibilities include:
- Drive and oversee sales across the entire RBS distribution network.
- Relate with Regional Managers, Business Managers & Business Bankers to achieve sales within this segment .
- Acquire market information and develop appropriate sales strategies for specific products in the emerging segment
- Develop and enhance current CVP linked to overall SME CVP.
- Participate in special events to support the product awareness and sales goals i.e GRN programs, NCCI, SME Compete etc.
- Improve conversion of transactional products into Business Check accounts
- Drive up-sell through Implementation and selling of digital and transactional products
- Responsible for mentoring and sales support to clients and Business Bankers
- Delivering and implementation of marketing campaigns in specific focus areas.
- Supporting of emerging SME development programs relating to EDF and NYC.

Minimum requirements
Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience
- At least 5 years Banking Experience with 3 at least in the Business Banking or Sales environment
- People management experience.
- Extensive sales/marketing experience. Deep knowledge of the SME banking value proposition with specific focus to the emerging SME market.
- Comprehensive knowledge of competitor offerings and strategies to target SME market. Retail Product development
- Computer literacy, sales skills, credit analysis and evaluation skills.
- Leadership, Sales and Marketing skills, Financial analysis, Presentation skills, Negotiation skills

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/Administration or Commerce or relevant qualification
