JOB ROLE
To manage the mechanical and electrical engineering function through the establishment, upgrading and specialized maintenance of mechanical, electrical and electronic infrastructure to ensure that water supply systems are operating efficiently and effectively.

- Understanding and using of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Systems in water supply.
- Developing of new and ungraded Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Systems in water supply.
- Understanding the process of learning. (Continuous learning approach.)
- Understanding people and how they function.
- Understanding variance in working conditions.
- Use all of above to perform work for NamWater in accordance with NamWater Vision and Mission.
- Innovation
- Understanding Telemetry and SCADA systems, the development and use there off
- Advance skill in the used of excel as a tool in all areas of management including analysis of water supply systems.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering
- 12 years experience in M&E Engineering environment
- 6 Years Management Experience
- Post Graduate Qualification in Management Practice will be an advantage
- Legal Requirements
- Registered professional engineer
- Drivers License Code B
