Purpose of the Job

To manage the interface between the organization and industry-specific customers through key customer retention focused business growth (existing and new) and by optimizing sales opportunities in order to add value to the business base.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure controlled process of collecting marketing intelligence to achieve informed business decisions
  • Identify opportunities and threats identified
  • Protect the base business and manage business performance in terms of individual targets and ensure business growth
  • Foster and sustain an effective working relationship through active involvement in stakeholder engagement and effective complaint resolution in order to sustain the current business and gain new business opportunities
  • Manage and control debtors
  • Manage marketing expense
  • Compile, facilitate and monitor monthly customer demand forecast and review sales versus forecast

Education

  • National Diploma at NQF Level 6in Sales and Marketing/ Business/ Commerce

Experience

  • 5 years experience in Sales/ Marketing/ Commercial or Finance environment
  • Experience from FMCG environment ,
  • Experience in the Petroleum Industry will be an added advantage

Conditions of Employment

  • Must have a valid driver's licence and be willing to travel extensively nationally and internationally
