Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the above-mentioned position to be based in Oshakati, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager . The incumbent will manage the Sales Team under his/her supervision to ensure all sales targets are met.


Key Performance Areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Co-ordination and execution of all team activities
  • Supervision and on the job training of Sales Consultants
  • Timeous compiling and submission of monthly reports, budget controls and vehicle inspections
  • Responsible for the maintenance and use of team vehicles as per FML guidelines
  • Distribution of brands (forward share) / special events
  • Promotion and merchandising of products as per promotional cycle
  • Pro-actively build and maintain relationships with customers and consumers
  • Ensure that staff are motivated and productively guided and managed
  • Ensure that all staff adhere to Company policies and procedures
  • Maintain sound Industrial Relations and discipline within all sectors of the region
  • Support Regional Sales Manager with operationally required tasks as and when required


Preferable qualifications / experience/ skills:

  • A minimum qualification of Grade 12
  • A qualification in Sales and/or Marketing will be advantageous
  • At least 3 5 years FMCG sales and promotional experience
  • Computer literacy (MS Office package)
  • A valid Code B/BE drivers license without any endorsements
  • Pro-active, professional approach with high energy and positive stress-tolerance levels as the position involves flexi working hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays in a high-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and negotiating skills, with the capability to deal with difficult customers
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a team player with the ability to lead and manage people from diverse backgrounds
  • Good administrative skills and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Action orientated with a sound set of values
  • Good analytical skills and sharp business acumen
  • Must be able to travel extensively
