Job Description
Executive Marketing (Windhoek)
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer the Executive Marketing will lead the Marketing Team and he/she will be responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing / brand strategy and execution within Bokomo Namibia.
The successful candidate will have:
- Commercial awareness and acumen with an entrepreneurs mindset
- Detailed knowledge of Namibian consumers, brands, channels, agencies, market insights
- Proven FMCG track record with broad marketing skills in the development and implementation of marketing strategy, marketing and advertising campaigns, ROI investment tracking, managing external agencies, new product development and packaging design, sponsorships, events and communications
- The ability to think strategically and lead a creative team to deliver strong brand equity, volume and value growth in a complex multi brand environment
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing strategy development and execution
- Strategic Marketing Management, including but not limited to New Product Development and Innovation, Brand Management, Sponsorship and Event Management and Communications.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Commerce or Marketing
- Minimum of 10 years working experience in an multi brand FMCG environment
- Valid code B Namibian drivers license
- MS applications with advanced Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate and convey key messages by phone, email and face-to-face
- Excellent presentation skills (verbal and in writing)
- Good organisational skills
- Personal resilience, with the ability to self-motivate
- Experience of working to targets and deadlines
- Ability to work under own initiative
