Responsibilities: communicating the benefits of a company's products in order to drive sales, serve as the point of contact between JABU and its prospects or clients, and have a range of responsibilities including - identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services, report on the performance of the line.
Jr. Beverage Representative # Reporting: Beverage Representative
Duties:
- Create and implement initiatives to increase turnover and the number of SKUs
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors
- Work closely with the Sourcing team and Merchandisers to suggest promotions or product quantities
- Submit activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Gather current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
Qualifications / Skills:
- Grade 12 completed. A degree or certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field will be an advantage.
- Ability to work well in a team, as well as to manage and motivate others
- Ability to think creatively and logically
- Familiarity with office software and phone systems
- Great communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to plan ahead and deal with unexpected changes
