Channel/strategy owner for 1-grid online paid media platforms.


The primary responsibility of the Paid Media Manager is to plan and implement SEM strategies. The role requires expertise and experience in building and growing traffic volumes across multiple mediums through the implementation of paid strategies, as well as monitoring and optimising display, search and video campaigns. The successful candidate will need to operate on both a strategic and tactical level from planning to implementation to reporting.


Key focus

  • Manage and optimise media buys (including digital display, search, social, mobile, etc.)
  • Monitor the evolving media landscape and help develop best practices for the company
  • Use your deep knowledge of all media platforms including Google Search, Google Display, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Programmatic, and other premium media providers
  • Use your knowledge of SEO to grow organic traffic

Outputs

  • Working with the internal teams to understand campaign goals and target markets
  • Presenting proposals/strategies and media schedules to relevant stakeholders
  • Planning, designing, and building paid search, social, display and video campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Monitoring and managing multiple campaigns
  • Proactively optimising, expanding and improving campaigns based on business objectives and KPIs
  • Providing regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis on campaigns presenting reports & media performance to business when required
  • Staying up-to-date on latest platform changes, new channels, media landscape and best practises share knowledge and best practise with the team
  • Actively identify areas for business growth & media opportunities to help drive revenue

Must possess

  • A minimum 5 years of experience with Google Paid Advertising, including PPC, search, display, video, social media, and mobile advertising and analytics
  • Deep experience in Google Ads (annual certifications required), Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Deep experience with social ad platforms Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
  • The ability to analyse data and trends and apply insights to continually optimise campaigns for performance and ROI
  • Detailed report creation for paid campaigns: the ability to build compelling reports detailing campaign successes, ROI, and learnings
  • Knowledge of SEO tactics or experience in growing traffic organically will be highly advantageous
