The University of Namibia is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for the vacant Lecturer position, Faculty of Education and Human Sciences, School of Humanities, Society and Development, Department of Language Development, Khomasdal Campus.
Specification
- Lecturing in different modes at tertiary level in Otjiherero Language Teaching Methodologies to undergraduate students. The candidate should be able to apply problem-based learning, supervise undergraduate research projects; engage in cross disciplinary research and publication activities as well as provide service to the academic and wider community.
Requirements
- Lecturer: A Masters degree in African languages (Otjiherero Language Education or Linguistics/Literature), with at least three (3) years lecturing experience in a field related to Otjiherero Language Education.
- Assistant Lecturer: Bachelor's Honours degree in African languages (Otjiherero Language Education or Linguistics/Literature), with at least three (3) years lecturing experience in a field related to Otjiherero Language Education.
