Staff Development Fellow: Companion Animal Clinical Studies (Equine Clinical Studies)

The University of Namibia is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for the vacant Staff Development Fellow position, Department of Companion Animal Clinical Studies, School of Veterinary Medicine Science, Faculty of Health Sciences and Veterinary Medicine.

Specification

• Undertake an MSc in veterinary medicine (Equine clinical Studies), Develop veterinary skills specifically in equine medicine and surgery through on the job training at the School of Veterinary Medicine , Assist with the day to day treatment and care of companion animal patients including equines at Neudamm Animal Clinic , Assist with clinical rotations in both clinical service delivery and student training, Assist with development of teaching material for equine clinical studies, Assist with practical training of BVM undergraduates

Requirements

• Veterinarian with a BVM (or equivalent) in veterinary medicine and demonstrable interest and experience in the field of Equine clinical studies. Qualifications should enable the candidate to be unconditionally registered or registrable with the Namibian Veterinary Council.
