LOCATION: AVIS
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
To coordinate and manage the Business Management System by ensuring compliance to the relevant ISO and Food Safety Standards, coordinating internal & external audits to render quality assurance support and the overall testing, and recording of laboratory and system driven results in accordance with relevant quality standards in Namibia as well as the health requirements of the importing countries.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Grade 12
- BSc degree / National Diploma in Food Technology.
- Minimum 2 years experience with QMS preferably in the food Industry/ FMCG environment.
- Experience in Auditing will be an added advantage
KEY ACOUNTABILITIES:
- Review, maintain and update the documentation and relevant records to ensure compliance with the identified ISO codes.
- Assist process owners to maintain and improve documents.
- Produce Business System management performance reports both periodically and ad-hoc
- Coordinate and schedule external Food Safety Audits
- Schedule and prepare internal Food Safety, GMP, Supplier (Farmers) audits and Process model Audits.
- Design and conduct training on food safety and ISO procedures as required by the relevant internal stakeholders/departments.
- Assist with drafting, implementing, and maintaining policies, programs, and checklists in accordance with ISO and Food safety codes by providing information and recommendations to Manager Quality Assurance.
- Assist with the updating of programs as and when required by amendments in the code and regulations or required by the customer
- Submit investigation report on customer complaints test results to Manager, Customer Care & Sales Operations
