Ensure that proper solid waste management operational systems are developed, implemented and managed.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Develop, implement and manage solid waste management operational systems.
- Management of resources within the section.
- Fleet management.
- Contract management.
- Supervise the work/job activities of the staff in the section.
Skills, Experience & Education
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelors Degree: Environmental Management/Logistics/Engineering.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Five (5) years relevant job experience
REQUIRED SPECIALISATION:
Environmental Management/logistics/Engineering.
LEGAL REQUIREMENT:
Code B/BE drivers license.
PRE-APPOINTMENT TRAINING AS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE:
Waste Management.
KNOWLEDGE:
Relevant legislation, policies, procedures and processes, operational management, contract management, Human Resources Management, project management, fleet management and logistics.
SKILLS:
Communication- verbal and written, report writing, problem solving, inter-personal relations and computer literacy skills.
