Job Description
The purpose of the job is to manage the reported defects and scheduled maintenance of City Councils vehicles, plant and equipment.
Key Performance Areas:
- Manage the municipal fleet division reception area and perform all duties required for the control of all the maintenance and repair tasks.
- Opening of history sheets for placement and new vehicles, plant and equipment on E-Venus system.
- Capturing and authorizing purchase order on E-Venus system.
Skills, Experience & Education:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
Grade 12 (Passed 20 point/5 subjects with an E symbol in the English language).
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Two (2) years job related experience.
LEGAL REQUIREMENTS:
Code B/BE drivers license.
KNOWLEDGE:
Theoretical knowledge and understanding in motor vehicles, plants and equipment.
SKILLS:
Good human relations, communication, analytical organizing skills.
