Job Description

Supervise staff in order to maintain effective client relations by ensuring that internal clients throughout the organisation receive the necessary support and training on all installed Enterprise Applications and MS Office Packages in pursuit of organisational excellence.

Key Performance Areas

  • Responsible for administrative and staffing functions.
  • Supervise the development of approved system changes and or the in-house development of systems.
  • Supervise the operations of the Enterprise Support and Training Specialist and the Services Desk Operator.
  • Develop and analyze customer satisfaction surveys.

Skills, Experience & Education:


REQUIREMENTS:

ICT/Business Degree (with Business, Marketing and/or ICT related subjects).


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:

Four (4) years of which, (Two (2) years Client Services and Two (2) years Supervisory/Management.


Client service experience within an ICT environment will be an added advantage).


LEGAL REQUIREMENT:

Drivers license (Code BE)


PRE-APPOINTMENT TRAINING AS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE:

Previous service desk 1st line support experience and use of call management software. Experience in Local Government or relevant large organisations.


KNOWLEDGE:

A good understanding of current IT technologies & systems, Excellent knowledge of Local Government operations.


SKILLS:

Organizing skills, Interpersonal skills, Exceptional customer handling skills and telephone etiquette, Adaptable and uses initiative.
