JOB SCOPE
Engineer in charge of all machinery and maintenance on the vessel. Responsibilities include senior officer in charge of maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electrical equipment and machinery onboard the vessel. The incumbent oversees all job orders and efficient operation of the vessel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Marine engineer class I or II STCW for vessels with propulsion system over 3000kW
- Valid marine safety certificate on advance level
- Valid proficiency in survival craft certificate
- Proficiency in English
- 5 years or more experience on fishing vessels over 4000GT and propulsion system with output over 300kW
- Experience working on Russian diesel 6 Chn 40/46 engines

- Experience working with IFO fuel systems
- Experience working with vessels with CPP steering systems
- Experience working with Schneider electric and ABB variable frequency drive programs
- Experience working Alpha Laval and Westfalia fuel and oil systems
- Experience working with ABB and VTR turbo chargers
- Experience working with therma-oil boilers
- Experience working with SBG-1600 shaft generators
- Experience working on Mitsubishi auxiliary engines
- Experience working with multi-lingual crew
- Experience working with Baader machinery
- Proficiency in Russian language
