JOB SCOPE Chief trawlmaster is most senior officer on the trawldeck in charge of all deck operations, repair of trawls and trawl equipment, mooring and bunkering operations, deck maintenance and crew safety and management on deck. Reports directly to the Captain. Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>Chief trawlmaster/Trawl master certificate with experience on Russian and Dutch built stern trawlers</li><li>Fishing foreman qualification</li><li>Proficiency in English</li><li>Valid marine safety certificates on advanced level</li><li>Valid proficiency in survival craft certificate</li><li>5 years or more experience on fishing vessels over 4000GT and propulsion systems with output over 3000kW</li><li>Experience repairing trawls series 0,series 1, series 2, series 2M and series 3 is imperative</li></ul> Added Advantage<ul><li>Experience operating and repairing Ibercisa and T20 winches</li><li>Experience with maintenance and repairing mooring lines and cables</li><li>Experience working with multi-lingual crew</li><li>Experience working with Simrad fishing equipment</li><li>Proficiency in Russian language</li></ul>
