Job Summary:
We are seeking an adaptive to a fast paced, motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to join our team. This role will support the daily administrative operations of Netball Namibia, ensuring efficient and effective office management. The successful candidate must the passion and a desire to contribute positively to the development of netball in Namibia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
- Assist in the organization of events, meetings, and training sessions related to netball activities.
- Maintain accurate and organized records, including participant registrations, financial documents, and correspondence.
- Answer phone calls and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel as needed.
- Manage office supplies and inventory, ensuring that necessary materials are always available.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Update and maintain the organization's database and mailing lists.
- Support the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or relevant coursework in business administration or sports management will be an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A passion for netball and sports development is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative roles.
